Middle+ Frontend Developer

About the role

You will join the team behind the Solovo web experience. You will build reliable, fast and flawless interfaces that thousands of people use every day to keep their most important connections alive.

What you will do

• Build and optimise the Solovo web client with Nuxt 4, Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Work on real-time chat: the WebSocket connection, reconnection handling and state synchronisation in Pinia.
• Develop audio and video calls on LiveKit and WebRTC, including group calls and screen sharing.
• Maintain the PWA build, offline scenarios and performance on low-end devices.
• Design architecture together with the backend and design teams, run code reviews and mentor others.

What we look for

• 3+ years of frontend experience, at least two of them with Vue 3 and the Composition API.
• Confident command of TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with Nuxt: SSR, the Nitro server, routing and request proxying.
• Experience with Pinia or a similar state manager and a good grasp of real-time applications.
• Ability to test components and logic with Vitest and @vue/test-utils.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebRTC, LiveKit or other media servers for calls.
• Familiarity with PWAs, service workers and offline mode.
• Experience integrating OAuth providers and working with typed API layers.
